Primary auditions for the WCYO Symphony Orchestra for the 2026-27 year will be held on June 3, 4 and 8, 2026. Select auditions are held in late summer and throughout the school year.
WCYO auditions for participation in the Symphony Orchestra are open to a broad age range of students up to 18 years old. Acceptance into the Symphony Orchestra is based on a student’s level of ability. Students should currently, or in the next year, be working on standard solo repertoire for their instrument, and should consult with their private teacher to see if they are prepared to perform original, unarranged orchestral music from the standard canon.
For an application and audition requirements, please see below. To be considered for an audition, please complete the application and we will follow-up to schedule an audition. The application form may be completed online or printed and emailed or mailed. Upon receipt of the form and non-refundable application fee of $40, an audition will be scheduled.

WCYO rehearsals are held on Thursdays in Ridgefield, CT.
