Auditions for 2026/27 were held in June and late August. However, select auditions are also held throughout the school year depending on instrument.
WCYO auditions are open to a broad age range of students up to 18 years old. Acceptance into the orchestra is based on a student’s level of ability. Students should currently, or in the next year, be working on standard solo repertoire for their instrument, and should consult with their private teacher to see if they are prepared to perform original, unarranged orchestral music from the standard canon.
To arrange an audition for the WCYO, please see the link below to complete the online application and submit the non-refundable application fee of $40. Upon receipt, we will follow-up to schedule an audition. (Please note the application fee is processed through the PayPal account of the Ridgefield Symphony Orchestra.)

POLICY NOTE: All WCYO youth musicians are expected to pursue private study of their instrument and participate in their school music program.
