Primary auditions for the WCYO Symphony Orchestra for 2026-27 will be held in early June. Select auditions are held in late summer and throughout the school year.
WCYO auditions for participation in the Symphony Orchestra are open to a broad age range of students up to 18 year old. Acceptance into the Symphony Orchestra is based on a student’s level of ability. Students should currently, or in the next year, be working on standard solo repertoire for their instrument, and should consult with their private teacher to see if they are prepared to perform original, unarranged orchestral music from the standard cannon.

The application form may be completed online or printed. Upon receipt of the form and non-refundable application fee of $40, an audition will be scheduled.
