Audition

Primary auditions for the three WCYO ensembles (described under the Ensembles tab) take place in early June.  However, some fall auditions will be held in late August and early September and applications for select instruments are scheduled throughout the year.  The application form may be completed online or printed and mailed. Upon receipt of the form, an audition will be scheduled. Click the link below for audition requirements for each ensemble.

Please email us for any questions regarding the WCYO ensembles or the application and audition process.  Our staff is currently working from home so our office number is unattended.  We would be happy to speak with you, however, so please email us a phone number and the best time to call if that is your preference.

Fall Auditions will be offered on September 10, 17, & 24th beginning at 5:00 PM. Upon receipt of the application (below), a staff member will contact you to arrange the audition appointment.  Unless otherwise noted, auditions will be held via Zoom until further notice.

*The COVID-19 health crisis affects us all.  The WCYO, by its very nature, requires our ensembles to assemble.  By preparing for our 2020-21 season one season at a time, the WCYO will deliver on our commitment to the young people we serve and remain responsive to the  health mandates, gathering restrictions and facility availability challenges we face. Please contact us at wcyo@wctyo.org if you have questions or concerns.  We are eager to serve as your community youth orchestra.
